The four of us went and saw “Madagascar 2″ at the Multnomah Arts Center last night. It was awesome! They pitched a screen on the basketball court and the kids played at the playground unti 9 pm or so. It was such a great community feeling, even though we don’t belong to this neighborhood.
I really love Portland for this reason. Everybody getting together and hanging out – kids running around and being loud, parents conversing. It was a great night. Can’t wait for the next one!

Report Card Time July 1, 2009
We got Maddax’s report card in the mail yesterday – no he hadn’t been stressing out about it! 
Even though he doesn’t get graded he made huge improvements this trimester and I, we, are so proud of him. His first report card he had one outstanding, his 2nd he had 2, and now on his final one has 12!!!! He has especially done well in Math. I am so proud of him!
