Can I get you something to drink today? June 24, 2009

I am never going to have to say that again to anybody. Well, professionally that is.

I had to hand all my “work” stuff – manual and badges. I cried walking back my car. The crying part took me totally by surprise. That part, this chapter is over.

On the flip side I get to be home. Maddax is taking swim lessons and it’s fun to see him trying something new and enjoying it too.

Didn’t I mention that our washing machine is broken – like dead broken. I must admit that I have taken having a washing machine for granted. I feel lost without it – especially when you have kids. I am so blessed.

I, Birgitta, took the kids down to Brad’s ol’ stomping grounds to go to this year’s Rhody Weekend (Rhododendron). There’s a parade, yummy treats, arts & crafts, and a lot of other fun stuff. We went down just for the parade – here are some highlights.

Here are pictures of Vienna’s “Alphabet Book” from this year. This book represents a lot of hard work (for Vienna ad Ms. Tracey).

Enchanted Forest June 4, 2009

Maddax’s Kindergarten Class went to Enchanted Forest today (check it out here). So, we gave Maddax our “old” digital camera to take pictures of the day from his point of view. So here they are. (Obviously, the ones with him in it, I took.)

Maddax did it! June 2, 2009

Maddax took his allergy medicine in pill form today! That’s a big deal right? I don’t remember when I started taking pills but I feel like this is early. Anyway…. it was a pretty exciting morning. Brad and I were so proud of him and he was very proud of himself too. I love to see him feel so good about himself.
